Ypsi High Student Council help students stay warm

Ypsilanti High School Student Council members, left to right, Michelle Douglas, James Barmore and Emma Kennedy, assist with preparing gently used clothes that will be available to Ypsilanti School families in need.

The clothing distribution is an annual program coordinated by school nurse Carolyn Falsetta. Clothes are distributed on Wednesdays from 1-5pm at the former George Elementary School on Ecorse Road. YHS Student Council members are working on Wednesdays to help sort the clothes and keep the room in order.

If you have winter coats or clothing, in good condition, that you'd like to donate, the items can be left at any YPS school building with a note indicating the item is for Carolyn Falsetta. For more information, contact Emma Jackson, (734) 714-1202 or ejackson@ypsd.org.
